This year, our team will join tens of thousands of Canadians of all ages and from all walks of life to participate in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.

At the age of 37, our dear friend Samantha lost her courageous battle with breast cancer. It is with her spirit, courage and strength that we continue to fight to help find a cure for this awful disease. Please support us in our fight!

For our wonderful Samantha who left us one year ago today.

The moment that you died,
Our hearts split in two,
The one side filled with memories,
The other died with you.
We often lay awake at night,
When the world is fast asleep,
And take a walk down memory lane,
With tears upon our cheeks.
Remembering you is easy,
We do it every day,
But missing you is a heartache,
That never goes away.
We hold you tightly within our hearts,
And there you will remain,
Life has gone on without you,
But it never will be the same.
For those who still have their Wife,
Mother, Daughter or Sister,
Treat her with tender care,
You will never know the emptiness,
As when you turn and she is not there.

We will love you always.
